In this scenario, Steve Porter Transport Group acts as a specialist Project Manager and uses 25 years accumulated expertise and experience to draw together the most appropriate and cost-effective suppliers to complete large moves.

Fees vary according to the size of the movement and complexity of the work involved, but are generally carried out on a fully transparent ‘cost plus fee’ basis.  Recent projects have included out-of-gauge equipment, involving road and sea movements as well as liaison with utility and telephone companies to prepare the safest, most expedient routes through towns and villages.  The Company has also collected, packed and shipped factory equipment to such diverse places as China and Mexico.
