Contract Distribution

At the heart of both our Portsmouth and Isle of Wight depots are our Contract Distribution Operations for the Parcel and Automotive industries.

Many companies seek partnerships with others who operate in niche markets or areas. Our roots on the Isle of Wight and our ability to service the Channel Islands on a daily basis have attracted large multinationals to use our services, which now cover Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, Berkshire, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Wight.

Steve Porter Transport Group operates customer liveried vehicles for major parcel carriers in order to maintain their identity in the area. We also operate shared user contract distribution where individual customer volumes can be pooled and serviced in a more cost-effective way. Our daytime Contract Distribution is supported by an extensive night trunking operation, which currently uses five trailers and one rigid vehicle travelling to the Midlands and London Heathrow.
