About Us

Established in 1981 as a sole trader business, the Steve Porter Transport Group has evolved to become a major niche player in the UK Transport and Logistics industry.

We currently employ in excess of seventy full-time staff across three sites (totalling 75,000 square feet of warehouse/office/manufacturing space) in Portsmouth and on the Isle of Wight and with staff embedded within a major manufacturing plant, the Company still strives to maintain the ‘personal touch’ when dealing with clients large or small.

We constantly review the range of services offered and seek to react rapidly to both customer demand and wider market trends.  The Company works hard to stay at the leading-edge and to provide quality, value-for-money solutions to a growing customer base.  The old cliché of ‘big enough to do the job – small enough to care’ is still very relevant to us and continues to set the tone for our future.
